Carpet re-installation covers both lifting existing carpet so subfloor or leak work can be done and then laying it back down cleanly, and removing worn carpet entirely to install new material. It involves removing and disposing of the old carpet, laying pad, and stretching and securing the carpet into the room: work that requires proper tools to do without visible seams or later rippling.
